The Merriweather Difference:

INTEGRATED HOUSE LIGHTS – Merriweather has 85 LED houselights with a control portal located at Front of House. Many shows are choosing to sync the show LED lights to a gentle wash in all seating areas. This also gives you full control of house from FOH. When your stage LEDs go red on stage, well, the aisle lights, the pavilion ceiling and even the large trees on the back of the lawn can be the exact same red to truly make the audience feel like part of the show.

IN-HOUSE VIDEO – Merriweather has 5 LED video screens in 1080i HD 16:9. We will need an HDSDI feed from you if we are to feed our screens from your content. Merriweather has a full HD Studio with up to 9 HD cameras and all related gear. We are here to make your artist look good from any vantage point in the venue! Merriweather is happy to provide a Blu-Ray or HD video file of the night’s performance. Please just let us know your video needs during the advance and we will make it happen.

POOL PATIO – Merriweather has an area located backstage with hammocks, wifi, lots of large trees, and of course the massage tent, where Merriweather offers complimentary massage therapy for all artists and crew every show from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

COMFORTABLE STAY – Backstage at Merriweather, you’ll find many things to make sure your date is excellent: a large production office, 10 fully-equipped dressing rooms, a grand piano in our large lobby area, large bath towels, a dedicated 500 mbps internet connection and Eat to the Beat catering, all the way from London. But what makes your date special is Merriweather’s highly trained and very experienced backstage staff.

HISTORY – Merriweather opened in 1967. It has hosted Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin; Led Zeppelin opened up for The Who here; Jackson Browne recorded some of Running on Empty Live at Merriweather, and on and on. The pavilion is now operating in its sixth decade and continues to be a special venue…
