The Temper Trap
Renowned Australian band The Temper Trap have made their long-awaited return in 2025 with
their first new music in nine years. Since the release of their seminal debut Conditions in 2009,
the band’s sound has transcended generations, with its cinematic, emotionally-charged
songwriting leaving a lasting imprint on global music culture.
In recent years, breakout anthem Sweet Disposition has experienced a powerful resurgence,
reimagined by a new wave of electronic artists including John Summit, Lost Frequencies, and
ARTBAT, reintroducing the track to dancefloors and streaming charts worldwide. Meanwhile, the
beloved single Love Lost found a renewed spotlight when it appeared on Mac Miller’s
posthumously re-released Faces mixtape in 2023, connecting with an entirely new audience.
From a surprise performance with John Summit at Coachella 2024 to widespread club plays
across Ibiza in the 2025 summer season, The Temper Trap's music has remained a fixture in
the cultural consciousness - timeless, yet constantly evolving.
With the release of their new singles “Lucky Dimes”
,
“Giving Up Air” and “Into the Wild”
, the
band is embarking on an exciting new chapter - one that promises to resonate as deeply as the
songs that first captivated the world more than a decade ago.
